道家呼吸吐纳法(完整版)大道论之四

分别章

夫心情、识智、意智,皆从道妄立也。道外无心,心外无道,即心即道也。其情识智意知亦然。芟悟道之心,剪认道之识,祛证道之智,除得道之智,薙了道之意,则忘知、忘意、忘智、忘识、忘心,则自无求道、趣道、学道,斯得 道矣。此则除修者执踪迹也,是真得 道,是真得一。若执 道执一,去 道远矣。若忘 Dao forgotten, forget the intention, forget the wisdom, forget the knowledge, forget the heart. Then one will not seek Dao, pursue Dao or study Dao. Thus one will attain true understanding of Dao. This is to eliminate all traces left by those who practice cultivation. It means achieving true understanding and unity with Dao.

The three aspects are different; two lives differ as well. There is a self-existent body and a natural body that relies on Daos for existence. There is also an imitative body that follows the nature of Dao through cultivation until there is nothing to do but be idle.

There are two kinds of birth: one that can give birth and another that comes from being born. The former refers to how Daos gives rise to all things while the latter refers to how all things come into existence through Daos.

Those who understand cultivate themselves; they must reach a state where they become sages without fail if they persist in their practice. Those who do not understand do not cultivate themselves and remain ordinary people.

Only those who avoid both sainthood and ordinariness truly understand; those trapped between these two states are lost in confusion.

To achieve enlightenment means realizing emptiness; reaching sainthood means eliminating both enlightenment and ordinariness simultaneously.

Therefore, it is said that twenty-four doors must be opened while five gates must be closed - this refers to attaining profound stillness at the door of deep tranquility where one sees objects impartially yet remains hidden like an obscure answer waiting for its time.

The gate of heavenly principle without selfishness covers everything under heaven without losing track of time; saints act similarly towards commoners with joy in simplicity and peace.
